Lady gaga never wore circle lenses in the video. her eyes were digitally altered. after that, though circle lenses became popular because they allowed girls a larger- eyed look that followed the lady gaga trend.
Personally, i’m a fan of lady gaga. she wears all of these crazy looks not for insecure teen girls to copy her, but to show them that being different is o.k. She’s an individual and a very talented, creative, intelligent, and good-hearted woman. She believes in acceptance for everyone, nomatter what their race, gender, personality, appearance, or sexual orientation. Maybe if girls were able to copy lady gaga’s eyes, they’ll be able to copy her nonjudgemental attitude as well.
