Lunar Eclipse June 2010: Partial Lunar Eclipse in USA – a partial lunar eclipse will occur this evening at around 5 to 8 pm, June 26, 2010. This will be the first of the two lunar eclipse for the year 2010.
The second lunar eclipse will be a total lunar eclipse and will happen on December 21. It is expected that more than half or 53.7% of the moon will be totally shadowed by the earth.
In the Lunar Eclipse this June 2010, the Moon’s increasing node at Western Sagittarius at around three degrees east of the Lagoon Nebula.
The Lunar Eclipse June 2010 will be seen not only in USA but also in Asia, in India and in Wesyetn Canada and USA. New England as well as eastern Canada will miss this eclipse as the astronomical event begins only after moonset from these areas.
However, the Australia and pacific countries will be able to see the best view of the partial lunar eclipse today.
