Visit Uppsala Cathedral

You cannot miss out on the Uppsala Cathedral when you are traveling to Uppsala because it is easily the city’s best attraction. Strikingly beautiful and red-toned, the cathedral dominates the skyline and is the seat of the Swedish Church. Built in 1270, a number of royal family members are buried here and has two large musical organs that are worth checking out.

Relax in the gardens and parks

The main shopping street in Uppsala is Svartbäcksgatan, which is traffic-free and pedestrianized for the most part. Dating back to 1643, the street was constructed to give a view of the Uppsala Cathedral. There are modern stores that line the streets and you will find all prominent brands. There are also attractive foodie pit stops that you will come across.
